Client wants all property to go to spouse if surviving or if not, equally to 4 adult children - if one or more of those adultt children are dead, client wants trust for each deceased child's children till they reach age 21, with the deceased child's spouse as trustee.

So, for each of 4 possible contingent trusts, a different trustee needs to be named. I don't see how to do this using either the short or long form simple will.

Any suggestions?

It is best to use Form 1-115 and 2-116, with trusts that last till 21. You should draft separate executor and trustee paragraphs, and then modify the trustee paragraph to accomplish what you want. The system doesn't allow you to automatically name different trustees like that.
