ProDoc Joins West, a Thomson Reuters Business

UNIVERSAL CITY, TEXAS – April 30, 2008

West - the foremost provider of information, services and software to the legal market and part of Thomson Reuters - has acquired ProDoc.

West brings to ProDoc substantial resources that will enable ProDoc to further develop its content and offerings for small firms and solo practitioners and to deliver its expertise more broadly and deeply into the legal market.

This acquisition provides exciting possibilities to build on the considerable success ProDoc has already achieved and the reputation ProDoc enjoys among the small firms and solo practitioners who rely on its expertise to shape their business decisions. While the essential mission of ProDoc will remain intact, its reach, resources and ability to further develop that mission will increase.

ProDoc’s offerings are a strategic fit with West’s product lines. Combining ProDoc’s content with West’s market-leading forms products will enable West to better serve its customers by strengthening its offerings in many jurisdictions.

Operations of ProDoc will remain in Universal City.
