ProDoc is so easy to use that you may be tempted to believe that you do not need to take our free training. But, without taking our training you'll probably never
learn the benefits of many of our subtle document assembly system features. So, you may never realize how ProDoc can save huge amounts of time for your practice every day. The
purpose of training is to help you quickly and easily adopt ProDoc’s
time-saving benefits into your practice.

What Can I expect to Learn from ProDoc
Training?
First and foremost, you and your staff can expect to learn how to use ProDoc,
our document assembly system. ProDoc is not an electronic forms on disk application
intended for manual editing in your word processor (i.e., fill-in-the-blank,
cut & paste).
Through the use of programmed logic and document management features,
ProDoc allows the user to assemble a document with appropriate language and
format, based on answers to questions that have been drafted by our experts.
As with most intelligently written software, ProDoc allows the user to
store preferences and use short-cuts that make the process as efficient
as possible. ProDoc training helps the user to understand the available
preference choices, short-cuts and how to get the most from them in any
particular practice
What type of training does ProDoc recommend?
Customers New to ProDoc
The brand-new customer should sign up for a telephone-based training session
on the ProDoc application as soon as possible after receiving the software.
With rare exceptions, we insist that all subscribers receive the complete,
basic ProDoc training course before scheduling any other training topic.
Notwithstanding some customers’ desire to be trained on the more advanced
functions or other applications during the initial telephone training session,
such training is not offered.
For the newest customers, we have a dedicated staff of customer relations agents
whose sole purpose is to facilitate your becoming educated on the complete
ProDoc application as soon as possible.
Finally, if your firm has access to a high speed Internet connection, any telephone
training can be upgraded to a web-based training session where you and your
instructor are able to see the same ProDoc application on the screen as you
are walked through a hands-on training. This upgraded version is literally
equivalent to having the trainer sitting with you in your office.
All Other Customers
In general, with all other customers, we will determine
the type of training that is needed – ProDoc training is suggested as
the first topic to be covered for any user who is not already familiar with
the complete, basic ProDoc training course – and recommend the appropriate
training format and order of instruction. Because brand-new customers have
priority for most all available telephone training slots, we recommend that
users requiring instruction on Small Office Suite (SOS), PowerPacks, or advanced
ProDoc topics such as modifying master forms or creating supplemental forms,
sign up for our pre-scheduled web-based training sessions. In these sessions,
an instructor utilizes web-based technology to present the visual portion of
the training directly on each attendee’s computer screen. The web-based
training option requires a high-speed Internet connection and this experience
is equivalent to attending a live-instruction, virtual classroom.
If web-based training is not a possibility because high-speed Internet access
is lacking, we will determine the next available telephone training
that we can present to you in response to your training
request. In general, many of the same factors outlined below in the eligibility
section are considered.
Who is eligible to receive training?
Any ProDoc account in good standing may request free training. Essentially,
ProDoc is willing to train any of your staff who potentially may be a user
of ProDoc’s software applications. Since each law office is unique
and we have multiple products, we offer training in a variety of convenient
formats.
