Small Office Suite (SOS®)

Small Office Suite (SOS) is the perfect companion program for ProDoc.They're fully integrated, so client and case information you enter in either program automatically flows into everything you do relating to the case including: time and billing, calendaring, organizing clients and cases...and much more.

We purposely designed ProDoc SOS as the easiest to learn and use—yet still robust—practice management system available today for small law firms.

SOS enables you to easily perform all of the following major practice management functions:

Time & Billing - Automatically create billing slips for appointments, phone calls, documents, etc. Monthly billing requires only a few mouse clicks and SOS automatically generates the statements for your review and approval.
The Time & Billing feature alone will more than pay for your entire ProDoc and SOS subscription fee each month. Because it is so easy to generate billing slips and monthly billing statements, you will find yourself capturing an additional 6-12 billable hours per month.
Contact Management - Track all your contacts; find an expert witness from two years ago; send out firm announcements. Everyone in your firm can access the information.
Client & Case Organization - All your client and case information is available right here. When a client calls, you can retrieve all the information without ever pulling the file.
Client & Case Notes - Now you can have a complete chronological listing of all notes for a client and case. No more looking for misfiled scraps of paper.
Calendaring - Rules-based calendaring is sleep insurance. Calendar a triggering event—filing a complaint, for example—and SOS automatically calculates and calendars all related events. Change the date and all related events change with it.
Monthly Billing - No more dreading the end of the month billing struggle. SOS generates a bill for each client showing all the applicable data, including your notes about each billing event.

And, SOS goes beyond basic calendar and billing functions to help you manage your entire office practice. Additional SOS features include:

Reminder Alarms - Set alarms for yourself and SOS gently reminds you to leave for your court appearance, your golf game, or whatever.
To Do Lists - SOS automatically reminds you of the To Do items you’ve set for yourself, or that your assistant sets for you.
Document Management - Quickly review every document and letter you’ve generated for a case, even years later.
Email Management - For ease of reference, store all email relating to a case in the case’s electronic file.
Security - You have complete control of who on your network can bill, who can view your calendar and make appointments, etc. You can even create private events that no one else on the network can view.
Certified Mailer - This feature makes the office typewriter obsolete. Simply choose the recipients of the certified mail and SOS prints the green card in seconds.
Conflict Checker - A potent new search engine, powered by dtSearch ®, enables you to search through your answers, To Dos, appointments, contacts, cases, documents, e-mails, and notes to assist you in locating any conflicts of interest.
Palm® Synchronizer - Allows synchronizing Palm address book, to do list, and date book data with your SOS contacts, To Dos, and appointments.
